Around the horn in ND

Posted 3/13/18 (Tue)

It's been a rough stretch for white men. March 8 was International Women's Day. Even in North Dakota. Here we still call it Women's Suffrage Day, and it isn't a whole day, actually. More of an extended coffee break. I'm not sure what happens elsewhere, but I think in some places women actually got equal pay for the day. This following Black History Month in February, ironically the shortest month of the year.

When I discussed the oppression of white men with a feminist friend of mine, she seemed surprised that 336 days wasn't enough. Really, do I actually have to mansplain this whole the slippery slope concept?
